The Bosch4100 Worksite Table Saw is amazingly portable! If you have projects around your property, like building a shed, deck or greenhouse, having a table saw you can take with you to the job site is invaluable. You could even take it out to your summer cabin and build that addition you have been meaning to get to. No matter where you need to do construction work, you can take this table saw with you.

Some people think a circular saw is enough to do any job. But unless you are amazingly skilled, making rip cuts with a circular saw is a nightmare. If you just need to make a few cross cuts, sure, a circular saw is great. But for serious construction projects you are going to need a table saw. And if you can take it with you wherever you go, so much the better!

There are many features that contribute to the portability of this saw. The first is that it's relatively lightweight. Your average table saw can easily weigh over 200 pounds, making difficult to move around. This one weighs just under 100 pounds! It's also smaller than a standard table saw at just 37.95 x 30 x 16.42 inches. What's unique, though, is that you really do not have to give up that much in workspace. The work top is a spacious 29 inches. And the base of the saw also has a handle for easy moving and lifting.

A major, unique feature of this table saw, however, comes from the trademarked Gravity-Rise Stand. The saw attaches to the stand to create a bench. Then, when you're ready to move, you just fold the whole thing up into a hand cart configuration, with the saw still attached. You will end up with a handle at the top and two wheels at the bottom. You can push or pull it along with one hand!

Another cool thing about the Gravity-Rise Stand is its pneumatic wheels. The cart weighs a mere 39 pounds, which brings the cart and saw's total weight to just under 100 pounds! With the weight balanced as if it's on a hand truck, and considering you have air-filled wheels, navigating rough ground is no big deal.

There are three other features you will want to keep in mind. First, it has a Smart Guard system that lets you accurately see the work area. No more blindly cutting and hoping you get it right! Secondly, it has a 10 inch blade, which is comparable to those found on larger saws. Finally, you get a very powerful 4 HP motor so it will not bog down while you are working.

And one more important thing! All attachments can be stored on the saw. This is another way in which this model specializes in portability. You will not have to face the irritation of getting to your job site and finding out you are missing an attachment or tool you need.

So if you are in the market for a table saw, the Bosch4100 Worksite Table Saw is undoubtedly the one to consider. It has a lot of high-quality features for its relatively low price. Also, when considering portability, Bosch did not just stop at a cart. The whole thing is well thought out. Also, Bosch has been around for awhile, meaning you can depend on their ability to make their customers happy. After you've used this table saw you'll wonder how you did without it!
