There are a lot of six sigma jobs available, but you need to know what you can offer and bring to the table. In order to be able to help out a business, your skills need to be assessed as well as your strengths and weaknesses. This way you can be able to help the client.

If you have financial experience and Six Sigma Black Belt training, you likely wouldnt walk into a position that is seeking anything less. Sometimes, though, it isnt this simple to find job listings. While some companies list exact Six Sigma jobs that they are hiring for, others might list the openings as Project Leader, Business Project Manger, or similar titles. Upon further investigation, you might find that these are, in fact, Six Sigma positions that you are eligible for. The ones that you choose to apply for are up to you.

First you need to decide what you are best at before you can apply to jobs. If you have black belt experience, obviously you will be able to look for a senior level job where you can be a team leader.

You also need to decide what areas your expertise covers like whether your want to work in a particular industry. Also you need to decide if you want to do a contract or an actual employee position for a more long term career choice.

You should definitely never settle on a position if you don't want to take it. This is a great background to have though because you have so many different options that you can take with it.
