Kenneth Copeland Ministry was founded by Ken Copeland, a native of Lubbock, Texas and a used-to-be recording artist. The whole concept came about when Ken Copeland met a co-pilot in the name of Oral Roberts, who is also the founder of a university he enrolled in. Oral Roberts had greatly influenced Ken Copeland to realizing his own Christian ministry and push through along its principles.

The Christian organization became eminent in 1970s, which later on branched out internationally in the lands of Australia, Africa, Canada, United Kingdom and Ukraine. He then also began a television program called "Believer's Voice of Victory" in 1979. Because of the fast adaptation of the population, even the prison inmates of almost 23 countries became fully loyal.

At the height of Ken Copeland's popularity, criticisms were earned and his true intentions and objectives were questioned by some prominent names. They linked his ideas to something that is worldly and illogical. This is where support from the founder's families and friends flooded in. Together, they proclaimed their faith without defending themselves to the indictment of the critiques, which drew attention to the public. An increasing number of followers were observed after.

For the past few years, it has gathered numerous followers from over 120 countries. Improvements were observed in broken families, and some prominent people from the politics and entertainment arena, became members. Facilities and service centers were formed to house orphans and abandoned children. This step earned praises and supports from established social bodies especially the church.

These projects became witnesses in the development of the outlook of the housed candidates. It has created a healthy, peaceful and loving environment which shaped the members to become ideal Christians. They even searched remote areas, making sure not to neglect the ones living there. Together, they were able to uplift the way of living of the people who once experienced a downfall in their lives.

Trained counselors were also doing their job to educate persistent notorious individuals and introduce moral values to them. Problems of couples in relationships and dilemmas of teenagers were commonly encountered. Counselors addressed their issues one by one until they finally formulate a resolution. The new members were observed to participate well in the activities and also made efforts to improve their lives.

Adult-counseling was also given attention to. In the first years, they focused more on curing defunct relationships, because they believe that this is the main reason why there are a growing number of teenagers who engage themselves in violence. They also put an emphasis on the real meaning of the teachings and not to just memorize the words verbatim. Issues about faith and wealth were raised and were efficiently supplemented with Bible verses.

Through time, the ministry modified their concepts into a more adoptable and worthy representations to produce an intensified belief from the members. Little by little criticisms recede and a follower created another follower, which resulted into goal-oriented minds and more peaceful community. Evangelism, really, has greatly contributed to the progress of a member of the ministry in all aspects.
