On December 6 in the year 1939 in Lubbork Texas Kenneth Copeland was born. Who would have thought that this fellow of a partial native American decent would go on to be one of the most prosperous and famous personality in the world of "Word-Faith" and "Positive Confession". He founded the Kenneth Copeland Ministries to convey the Word of the Lord as well as his beliefs regarding spirituality and healing.

Before converting into Christianity in the early 1960s, he was a recording artist. His hit "Pledge of Love" made it up to the 12th rank on the top 40s for up to eight weeks. By the time, he embraced the Christian way of life he worked for a ministry giving in his full efforts. He piloted and chauffeured for Oral Roberts before enrolling in the Oral Robert's University situated in Oklahoma. Soon after he became a part of the Alma matter's Board of Regent, and stayed on as a member until being replaced in 2008.

His ministry was founded in the 1970s and was televised by the year 1979. Almost 700 stations in the US aired him to 82 million households. Being a writer, he also published books and magazines regarding his teachings catering to adults and children alike.

The main headquarters for his ministries were located in Newark and Texas. Moreover, they even had international branches situated in Australia, Africa, Canada, United Kingdom, and even in Ukraine. Their purpose was to share the word of God and put meaning to the lives of His followers through spirituality. Prayers were the key in his point of view.

Critics cannot be avoided especially in issues such as religion. Kenneth Copeland dealt with different people who questioned his teachings especially those which involved spiritual healing being said that is it a destructive lie. He stood his ground for he believed that every Christian has the gift of physical healing and financial prosperity if they start believing.

Praise and worship was the key. Kenneth Copeland believed that it is important that people who have not praised the Lord in their lifetime should begin to in order to receive the gift of prosperity. People who praise the Lord frequently will be given more blessings compared to those who do not.

One of his heresies was: "God has never used sickness to discipline His children", believing that the HIV virus was not His way of reprimanding those who have acted immorally that there was an underlying cause for it beyond punishment.

In order for one to enrich his or her soul, the elements of faith, hope and love encrypted in the bible has to be the basis. The enrichment of the soul would be the bridge for a mortal to receive eternal salvation and everlasting peace in God's kingdom. Praise and prayer are the keys in attaining these gifts.

Establishing the ministry was Kenneth Copeland's bridge in achieving his dream. With God as his priority in his everyday life and with the ambition of sharing the Lord's Word with everyone to attain deliverance at hand, he has shown a pathway to a new way of life.
