Oatmeal & Raisin and Chocolate chip are everyone favourite cookies, but you can have too much of a good thing and start getting bored. I love Chocolate chip, and the smell of a fresh batch is indescribable, so they'll never disappear from my kitchen completely.

I'm also open to new ideas and suggestions though, and am willing to try anything. It's only by mixing and matching and playing around that you can discover new delights.

I've been trying out some new cookies recently and I'm so glad that I did. I'm sharing a few of the best with you here. Give them a go and give your taste buds a treat.

The first new way I tried was to make my cookies from a cake mixture. They are really tasty, and you even get the authentic cracks in the cookies. The beauty of this is the variety of flavors you can buy a cake mix in.

These next cookies come from peanut butter dough and contain butter cups, like the ones Reese's make. Either buy or make your dough and make the cookies as normal. When they come out of the oven push a butter cup into each cookie, you get the idea.

In my opinion, White chocolate is a very neglected ingredient, until now. My combining this with Cranberries I have created a cookie that looks good, tastes good and that I can't make enough of as they go so fast! You know you've hit on a winner when your friends keep asking you to make more.

My last suggestion for today is to get your cookie dough and throw in some butter toffee, chocolate chips and cherry. Very sweet and delicious, these will soon become a firm favorite in your household.

So now you know a few of my ideas, why not come up with some of your own? If you have some favorite ingredients put them into a cookie. Be inventive and you'll have a lot of fun.
