If you expect to get results from your workouts by simply going to the gym and going home, you will be disappointed. Supplements to build muscle have never been more important because we just can't get enough nutrients out of our food these days. This is a billion dollar business so manufacturers are constantly developing bigger and better muscle building supplements.

Feeling a muscle is a signal that you used that muscle extensively. Feeling pain in a muscle just mean you've used that muscle way more than you're used to. And, last, the pump only means there is blood "jailed" (stuck) in the muscle. None of those means the muscle was really stimulated to grow.

On the other hand, if you keep using steroids or protein supplements, your heart, kidneys, and liver will most likely fail before you reach retirement age. Unfortunately, you will not develop the kind of muscles and strength that you should get out of all your effort.

If you run for 1 hour, you'll fell all those good reactions in your leg muscles. Now, look at runners that don't workout. Most good runners run, they don't workout. Are they muscular? Heck No! They're skinny as a stick of wood. The fact is that all these "good reactions" bodybuilders are so proud of don't mean anything. They're great - it feels just amazing, but it doesn't mean you're actually having muscles being stimulated.

To build muscle fast, you need an muscle intensified workout plan. Not intensified because it makes you workout for hours or because it makes you lift heavy weights. Intensified because it makes the muscles do the job of lifting weights and nothing else. Most people who lift huge amounts of weights are not using their muscles to lift, they're using other resources of their bodies (parts of the body that can generate more force than muscles).
