Start shopping early if you want to reduce stress at Christmas. At the beginning of November you should be at the stores shopping, or possibly in mid October. A great stress reliever is to shop online for Christmas. Sure, the shipping may cost more but you are trying to reduce stress so it is worth it

Just trying not to be stressed out during Christmas can stress you out even more. If you are stressed because a family member can't make it in for the holidays, don't worry so much, not everyone is going to be available at this time of year, even more so if your family is spread across the country or globe. Buying for a lot of people can also be stressful.

Then again, you might be stressed out because it's difficult to buy for one particular "man who has everything already" person. It could be all of the above or maybe just one. Either way you're stressed and you should just calm down and take a minute to yourself.

Go out with friends, go watch a movie with your other half. Or just take some time to be by yourself and relax. Take the time to just stop and relax. You deserve it, after all you're probably stressed because you're doing all this by yourself.

Keep in mind, you only have to go through all this once a year and once this is over you won't have to do it for another whole year. Christmas time is so much fun if you can remember to take one day at a time and hang in there.

Its fun to see the look on a child's face when they get a gift and it is very nice to see your family, especially if they happen to live far away from you. Don't sweat small stuff and if you find that you're stuck on what to buy for that hard to buy person, then get them a gift card to some place that you know they will like.
