At the start of this article on expressing anger let's understand that of all emotions that we have, anger is the most terrible. But instead of fearing anger you only need to be careful with it and carefully control it.

This article talks about the different kinds of expression of anger and how you can express your anger appropriately so that you are satisfied with the results.

There are three basic categories that people use to describe the expression of anger. There are outward expressions, inward expressions and another expression that is referred to as calming or controlling.

Outward...

The way that we think anger is normally expressed characterizes for the most part the outward expressions. This form usually involves shouting, making threats or using sarcasm and violence. Of all three forms of expression this form varies as the second or third of the worse the three.

Inward...

An inward expression of anger is a second type of expression. This form describes an anger that you do not talk about to anyone, but you keep it inside you. It leads to some of the more terrible forms of illnesses, including heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and strokes.

You may think that this form of expression only affects you when you act this way, but the other danger associated with this type is that the anger that is kept in often times grows until it is past anger and is turning into rage.

Calming...

When you use the expression of calming your anger you would have just chosen the best form of anger expression there is. When using this method, you will be assertive but you will not be aggressive. A second benefit of using this expression is that there are also fewer chances that the people you meet will retaliate back at you with anger of their own.

You will also recognize that when used correctly, you would not encounter the situation of the same person doing the same thing again. This expression has a way of getting to the bottom of problems and solving them.

How to do it...

If you are going to be good at expressing your anger in good ways, you need to be good at controlling the gap between the time you are annoyed and the time you respond to it.
