This article talks of the different ways that rage control efforts can succeed.

Exercise

If you do not want to rage, do not underestimate the power of exercise to help you with this. Exercise, even if it is only moderate exercise will make you feel better, so that you do not feel your anger as deeply.

Don't seethe

Keeping anger in makes it more likely that your anger will turn to rage. Make sure that you know how to express yourself, and make constant improvements in this area.

Anger drugs

Drugs do not work well for calming anger. They may treat some of the symptoms that are associated with anger, but they do not work on the root of the problem.

Exercise often does everything that the anger drugs are supposed to be able to do.

Distractions

Maturity

Mature a little bit more than you are now. With maturity comes an understanding of patience and progress that will let you see ahead of time what can should be done so that you are not shaken out of your self control.

When your maturity is greater your superior mindset will show you what it takes to stop rage from being a serious concern to you.
