Getting Your Ex Boyfriend Back - A Game Plan
I recall how ashamed I was and I felt rejected. I recall the desperate feelings, without hope, and feeling alone. The pain was so horrible that I was afraid to wake up in the morning and go to my job.
Although I had ideas initially to cry, threaten him with suicide, beg him to come back to me, I knew deep down that this behavior would only make him feel disgusted with me, so I made a concerted effort to stay away from these options.
Taking a trip for about two weeks was my next option. I did this to get away from anything that reminded me of my ex-boyfriend. I started feeling better, realizing that my life can continue on without him. I felt like this even after crying the first few days. When returning home, I felt positive about my future. Next thing I know, my ex-boyfriend is at my doorstop, looking like he hadn't slept in days and having red eyes.
He felt like he had lost me forever when I was not able to be reached. He wanted to tell me that he made a big mistake.
He said that he could not imagine his life without me . But then I was in an altogether shocking mode as I had not expected this. Instead I had already thought him as my past. Hence I was still not ready to forgive him for leaving just few days before our marriage. I did not want to believe him.
The point is that men like a challenge. By making me unattainable to him after our breakup, this made him see me as more desirable in his eyes. I was a sure thing to him in the past, however after the breakup; I was someone he wanted desperately.
Your ex boyfriend might still have feelings for you , but he doesn't acknowledge it . According to a survey 90% of people who break up still have strong affection towards their ex partner.
